Athletics Program

Regarding Fall Sports Registration and Upcoming Winter Sports

Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

Thank you for your interest in PHA Athletics!

Our Fall sports teams have already held tryouts, started practices, and begun their regular game schedules for the season. Because of this, we are no longer adding new players to our rosters. The Fall season is unique for PHA sports because everything begins before we return to school. To prepare for this tight timeline, we open registration in mid-August and post updates on our PHACS.ORG Athletics Web Page throughout the summer.

The registration form was scheduled to close on September 6th, and I apologize that it was not updated with that closing notice in time.  I have since corrected the form to ensure it is no longer accepting submissions.

We would love to have your student participate in our upcoming seasons! Registration for Winter Basketball will open in November. If your student is interested in trying out for basketball, all information and registration links will be posted on our PHACS.ORG Athletics Web Page. I will also share these details with the Middle School and High School Administration for school announcements and send an update to families through ParentSquare.

Best,
Mrs. Holmes

At Prospect Hill Academy Charter School, the athletic experience is an integral part of the total educational process. Through MCSAO competition, our middle and high school athletes can transform these principles into lasting well-being. Physically and emotionally, they can work towards building lifelong fitness and the resilience needed to overcome challenges. Socially, participation can help them forge strong peer bonds and teamwork. Academically, the discipline of the game can sharpen their focus and time management, showing how the pursuit of athletic excellence can directly support classroom success and character development.

As a founding member of the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization (MCSAO), Prospect Hill Academy students are afforded the opportunity to compete interscholastically in MCSAO soccer, cross-country, basketball, volleyball, track & field, and softball leagues and tournaments.
