The 13 participating PHA students have selected research projects around a social justice topic of their choice, and meet once a week for programming at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study with program staff and their assigned undergraduate mentors. Projects include: the state of different housing projects in the Greater Boston area, women's hygiene and access to health products and healthcare, homelessness and drug use, and sexual assault.
The program has been a great opportunity for our students to build community (especially post virtual learning during the pandemic), and many have expressed that they feel very connected to their mentors, who are just a few years older than them in college.
