On May 3rd, nearly 300 Prospect Hill Academy 4th, 5th and 6th graders left their classrooms for the day to take part in the school's annual "Opportunity Day." The Upper Elementary students explored a range of workplaces and college campuses around greater Boston and enjoyed learning about the many career and educational opportunities that are possible in their futures.

Over the last two years, PHA and the Museum of Science, Boston (MoS) have developed an invaluable partnership, allowing us to greatly increase access to STEM opportunities for our students. Visits to and from the Museum have allowed us to enhance STEM learning at PHA through interactive, hands-on, multi-disciplinary, and relevant activities and experiences.

In April 2019, as the youngest and smallest team, PHA 7th graders won the BotBall Robotics Competition “Alliance Challenge” award.

Prospect Hill Academy has earned the first College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science A. Schools honored with the award have expanded girls’ access in AP Computer Science courses. Out of more than 18,000 secondary schools worldwide that offer AP courses, PHA is one of only 685 (4%) to accomplish this.

Prospect Hill Academy is proud to announce that the varsity girls basketball team triumphed in the MCSAO state championship held on March 8th against Pioneer Charter School. The final score was 58-33. Congratulations to all the players and coaches on a fantastic end to a perfect season!
