Rachel Wetschensky
Education: Kansas City Art Institute (B.F.A. in Painting), University of Central Missouri State (B.A. in Special Education), Vanderbilt University (Masters in Special Education), Boston University (C.A.G.S. in Reading Education)
Previous experience: Before coming to PHA, Ms. Wetschensky taught special education at Maple Valley State School in Missouri.
Hobbies and interests: Outside of school, Ms. Wetschensky wants to be outdoors and with animals as much as possible. She enjoys reading, painting, playing softball, scuba diving, and taking classes.
Why did you choose to work at Prospect Hill Academy?: "I knew I wanted to work at Prospect Hill when I met and observed a lesson with David Thelemaque (now a PHA graduate--class of 2016). I said to myself, 'I want to teach a student of that caliber in this place where mutual respect between teachers and students is palpable.'"
