Many of the student speakers reflected back on the trials and tribulations of beginning their high school careers virtually at the height of the COVID pandemic, and proudly shared how they rose to the occasion and persevered, guided by the strength and support of their families and the PHA community.
“Todo lo que soy y espero ser se lo debo a quienes creyeron en mí” / “All that I am and expect to be I owe it to those who believed in me." These words, featured on senior speaker Kayla Monzon's graduation cap and in her graduation speech, will be carried not only with Kayla, but all our graduates, as they continue on their journeys beyond PHA.
PHA's Class of 2024 will be attending a range of local and regional colleges and universities, including Boston University, Howard University, Johns Hopkins University, Swarthmore College, Tufts University, and Wentworth Institute of Technology, to name just a few. We are immensely proud of our graduates and look forward to seeing where their bright futures take them.
