A letter to the PHA community from Head of School Angela Allen responding to recent current events and sharing anti-racism resources.

The award, sponsored by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) recognizes high school students who identify as women, gender queer and non-binary for their computing-related achievements and interests as part of an effort to encourage more young women to choose careers in technology. The students will be honored on Saturday, May 30th during the first-ever award event for all 2020 Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) recipients.

Via Somerville WickedLocal.com: Congratulations to PHA seniors Syalomee Pradhan, Liam McNally, and Sean Carter on receiving ACE Mentor Program scholarship awards! The students represented 3 out of only 30 high school students in greater Boston who received awards. They were honored in a student showcase event held on March 11. ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston is a nonprofit organization which introduces high school students to the architecture, construction, and engineering industries.
