Join us on the third Tuesday of every month* from 3:00-4:30 PM in the Upper Elementary School Yard (17 Franklin St, Somerville). Pick up free groceries while picking up your children!

I am grateful for each of you during this season of gratitude and giving. We each bring our own unique cultural and lived experiences to our richly diverse and inclusive community. Our holiday festivities and traditional/cultural feast may vary from culture to culture. For many of us, Thanksgiving is a time to gather with friends and family and be thankful for all the goodness in our lives -- especially the people.

Prospect Hill Academy Charter School’s (PHA) varsity girls volleyball team won their first ever MCSAO (Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization) championship this past Saturday, November 29, 3-0 over Pioneer Charter School of Science II. Senior Trisha Exantus was chosen as the Division’s Most Valuable Player and Senior Mia Morris, Senior Angie Casseus, and Junior Lydia Martins were all selected to the MCSAO all-star team. The season is not done yet, as the girls head to Georgetown High School on Wednesday, November 2, at 5:00 p.m. for a preliminary round matchup in the MIAA playoffs.
