PHA in the News

Wiener J. Douyon, a recent Prospect Hill Academy graduate, was recently awarded the Henry David Thoreau Scholarship. The scholarship, named for the 19th-century naturalist and author Henry David Thoreau, is an award given annually to eight Massachusetts high school seniors.

PHA was one of eight groups of local high schoolers who traveled to BU this school year to do the e/m —or charge-to-mass ratio— physics experiment with Professor Rob Carey. In addition to conducting one of the most important experiments in the field of physics, the students got to see what a real college lab class is like and get a crash course in particle physics. The pizza lunch was a plus!

Prospect Hill Academy Charter School in Cambridge has earned the first College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science A.

Several of our employees represented Adviser Investments at a “Leaders in STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) event for the benefit of Prospect Hill Academy (PHA).

Last Friday night, March 8, at the Clark Athletic Center on the campus of UMass-Boston, the curtain came down on the 2018-2019 girls basketball season in the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Association.
