PHA seniors and twin sisters Breanna and Jordan St. Germain were recently highlighted by the Boston Herald for achieving the amazing milestone of reaching 1,000 career points together at their PHA girls varsity basketball game on January 16th.

PHA was honored to be selected by the Barr Foundation as a host school for their Catalyzing New Models in education program that invites educators to visit and learn from schools doing innovative and effective work.

On November 20th, a group of 10th graders in our AP Computer Science Principles classes had the opportunity to visit the Google offices in Kendall Square where they presented their current animation coding projects and received feedback from Google engineers. They also enjoyed a tour of the building and lunch. An additional group of 10th -12th graders will go on December 4th.

PHA's food security program Thrive continues to be steadfast in feeding and nurturing our community. In partnership with Food for Free, the program provides families who are food insecure with grocery cash cards, called Carrot Cards, allowing families the flexibility of choice, location, and timing when it comes to feeding their children.

On Saturday, November 23rd, PHA held a "graduation" ceremony for the PHA families participating in our fall adult English class offered in partnership with the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.
